Melissa + Austin's Up North Watercolor Wedding Invitations

Things that Melissa and Austin love: the outdoors, tea, bees, fishing, whales and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Melissa and her now husband, Austin, met at Michigan Tech, a university nearly at the most northern point of Michigan in the Upper Peninsula. Both lovers of the outdoors, she and I connected at a meet-up for local creatives and not long after she inquired about me creating the invitations for their local September wedding. After she described their whimsical vision featuring watercolor paintings of all of the things that symbolized Austin and her, in addition to unassuming hand-lettering, how could I say no? This was my favorite wedding project of the year so far and I can't imagine having more fun creating any future suites!
